GE Corometrics 150 Fetal Monitor Features The GE Corometrics 150 twin fetal monitor is designed for any OB/GYN offices, clinical settings or hospital. With patented Corolation signal processing, the accuracy of ultrasound FHR monitoring is significantly improved resulting in clear and consistent heart rate traces. While monitoring twins, overlapping heart rate traces can be separated with the push of a button. The strip is automatically and regularly annotated to indicate the offset mode is enabled. Complete with Toco and Ultrasound Transducers Dual ultrasound with offset mode Fetal movement detection GE Corometrics 150 Fetal Monitor Specifications Dimensions Height: 6.9 in (17.5 cm) Width: 13.25 (33.8 cm) Depth: 15.1 in (38.3 cm) Weight: approximately 22 lbs (9.98 kg) Ultrasound Technique: pulsed Doppler with autocorrelation processing Pulse repetition frequency: 4 kHz in single ultrasound mode, 2 kHz in dual ultrasound mode Pulse duration: 92μs Center frequency: 1.151 MHz Internalty: <10mW/cm² Heart rate counting range: 50-210 BPM Leakage current: <10μA at 120 VAC (transducer isolated) Uterine Activity Tocotransducer range: 0-100 relative units (with UA reference set) Excitation voltage: +4.0 VDC Resolution: 1 relative unit. Additional Information

General Information About Fetal Monitors Fetal Monitoring Fetal monitoring is extensively used in birthing facilities for measuring fetal well being and assessing labor progress. Electronic Fetal Monitors are used to detect and trace the fetal heart rate and uterine contractions. These are usually monitored at the same time however, each one can be obtained separately. Terminology used for Fetal Monitors Ultrasound(U/S Transducer): A transducer is placed on the abdomen to direct an ultrasonic beam towards the fetal heart and to sense Doppler shifted echoes created by moving cardiac structures. Uterine Activity(Toco or U/A Transducer): Uterine contractions are recorded from a pressure-sensitive device that is placed on the abdomen and held by a lightweight stretchable band or belt. Different features in Fetal Monitors Monitoring Modes: Antepartum: occurring or existing before birth; "the prenatal period”. Parameters to be considered: Fetal Heart Rate(U/S) Uterine Activity(U/A) Intrapartum: Occurring during labor and delivery. Parameters to be considered: Fetal ECG Intrauterine Pressure Catheter (IUPC)
