The Sonomed Escalon MasterVu 4500 A-Scan Ultrasound from EMS lets ophthalmologists turn office computers into powerful A-scan ultrasound instruments. MasterVu software can be installed on multiple computers, while the scan hardware can easily be packed into its compact carrying case for transport. The A-scan offers five different examination modes, direct contact or immersion A-scan, and has a clinical accuracy of ±0.1mm. Measurements include ACD, Lens, Vitreous, and AXL, with individual zone velocities and average with standard deviation. Choose from two probe styles, Standard for hand-held, immersion, or slit lamp application, and Soft-Touch for hand-held application and minimizing corneal compression. Manual or automatic capture Immersion or direct contact Auto calculations Axial length average and standard deviation (up to 5 scans per exam) Standard IOL formulas Post-refractive IOL formulas
