The Sonomed Escalon 300A+ A-Scan Ultrasound from EMS provides ophthalmologists with intuitive and practical tools for diagnosing optical pathologies. The 300A+ model offers immersion and direct contact A-scan, as well as manual or automatic capture with five examination modes. It features six standard IOL formulas, as well as three post-refractive formulas. Easy to use software allows ophthalmologists to review each scan, delete outlying scans, and add new scans. The software also executes auto calculation of axial length, anterior chamber depth, lens thickness, and vitreous, as well as axial length average and standard deviation for up to 10 scans per exam.
